48" TELESCOPE STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE NOTE:

The 48" Telescope is very easy to store.

From the Movement Menu on the Mac, select 5 (Set Zenith Position), and when prompted turn the Track switch to off. Then enter a 7 (Start Slew) on the Mac. The telescope will return to the zenith.
Shut off ("in" position) the Drive Power switch.
On the DFM Rack, toggle the Dome Track switch to Dome Home. When the dome is finished moving, turn off the Autodome switch.
Next flip the Mirror Cover switch to closed, and wait for the doors to close.
Shut off the Main Power switch.
Go out into dome and press close switch, twice if necessary.
Turn off TV camera high voltage (leave power on).
Refill ccd dewar if needed.
